11 Ways to Promote the Bill and Carolyn Moon Scholarship to Your Employees

Each year the聽聽distributes thousands of dollars to students to pursue their educational goals. In 2024, the foundation will award five, $5,000 scholarships to truck stop and travel center employees and/or their legal dependents.

The scholarship program is an amazing employee benefit, and truckstops and travel plaza operators should encourage all of their employees to submit a聽 by the May 17, 2024, deadline.

Here are 11 ways you can promote the scholarship to your staff:

  1. Share the upcoming deadline and scholarship availability on your company socials.聽
  2. Place an article highlighting the award in your company newsletter.
  3. and let your employees know. Donating shows your support the scholarship that gives back to them.聽
  4. Send an email blast to employees with information about the scholarship, important deadlines and a link to the application聽().
  5. Display photos and information about prior scholarship recipients from your location. Email 黑料社区Foundation Executive Director Amy Toner at atoner@natso.com if you aren鈥檛 sure whether you’ve had a winner.聽
  6. Place an informative description of the program in the company handbook for new employees.

  8. Remind employees about the program at company meetings.
  9. Place table tents on tables in break areas.
  10. Encourage your HR director to share information about the scholarship when meeting with employees.
  11. Include information about the scholarship program in employees鈥 paychecks.
