EPA’s Tier 3 Rule Eliminates Pump Labeling Requirement

The Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) new proposed  to reduce the sulfur content of gasoline also proposes to remove the dispenser label requirement for diesel fuel pumps dispensing 15 ppm ultra-low sulfur diesel beginning Dec. 1, 2014. EPA is proposing the change because the sulfur content of all highway diesel fuel is now 15 ppm nationwide.
