Hurricane Watch: Sally Intensifies; Monitors Declarations of Emergency
Hurricane Sally intensified to a Category 2 storm by late Sept. 14, moving toward Louisiana, Alabama and Mississippi. The storm was forecast to push “life-threatening” surges of up to 11 feet and produce tremendous rainfall.
