Lawmakers Petition EPA to Grant Waiver from Ethanol Quotas Amid Drought

A growing list of state governors, members of Congress and senators are  the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to grant a waiver from ethanol quotas mandated by the federal Renewable Fuels Standard (RFS) because of continuing drought conditions in the midwest. EPA recently testified before Congress that it is “” considering a waiver of the RFS.
