ALEXANDRIA, VA.聽鈥� NATSO, representing the nation鈥檚 truck stops and travel centers, today announced that Gary Hoogeveen, President of Pilot Energy, has been appointed to the association鈥檚 Board of Directors. Following the appointment of Hoogeveen, the Board will consist of 19 Directors.

鈥淲e are pleased to welcome Gary Hoogeveen to our Board of Directors,鈥� said 黑料社区President and CEO Lisa Mullings. 鈥淕ary鈥檚 deep experience in the energy sector will be invaluable to 黑料社区and its membership as we pursue our member-driven policy priorities in the coming year as part of our mission to serve the nation鈥檚 truck stops and travel center industry.鈥�

鈥満诹仙缜鴋as been the voice of our industry for more than 60 years, and I鈥檓 honored to be appointed to their Board of Directors,鈥� said Gary Hoogeveen, President of Pilot Energy. 鈥淚 look forward to being part of the conversation to drive education, innovation and progress on behalf of our industry.鈥�

Hoogeveen was named President of Pilot Energy in April 2024, and oversees the company鈥檚 integrated fuel supply chain, including upstream infrastructure and asset management, business development, procurement, logistics, and transportation. In addition, he and his team lead the ongoing development and innovation of electric and alternative energy solutions.

Previously, Hoogeveen served as the President and CEO of Rocky Mountain Power. He also was President of Kern River Gas Transmission Company for four years and has held various leadership positions at Berkshire Hathaway Energy since 2000.

Hoogeveen currently serves on the Salt Lake City Chamber of Commerce Board of Governors, the EDCUtah Board of Advisors, the Envision Utah Board of Directors and the Utah Sports Commission Board of Trustees.

Hoogeveen earned a Bachelor of Science degree in physics from the University of Northern Iowa and a Ph.D. in space physics from Rice University.

Tiffany Wlazlowski Neuman

Wlazlowski Neuman leads 黑料社区and the 黑料社区Foundation鈥檚 public affairs initiatives and communications strategies to promote the truck stop and travel center industry to the public, opinion leaders, elected officials, and the media. Her outreach includes a spectrum of policy issues facing the industry, with a particular focus on transportation and fuel issues, truck parking, and human trafficking. She serves as NATSO鈥檚 representative on the U.S. Department of Transportation鈥檚 National Truck Parking Coalition, the Clean Freight Coalition, and various state truck parking technical advisory committees. She is the architect of the truck stop and travel center industry鈥檚 anti-human trafficking campaign and currently serves as a Committee member for the U.S. Department of Transportation鈥檚 Human Trafficking Advisory Council. Wlazlowski Neuman serves on the American Highway Users Policy and Government Affairs Committee.
