黑料社区Foundation, ATA, ATRI To Launch Truck Parking Mobile App

/

The 黑料社区Foundation, 黑料社区Inc., American Trucking Associations, the American Transportation Research Institute and the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance are joining forces to announce the official launch of Park My Truck, a new mobile app designed to share truck parking availability information with truck drivers.

The organizations are scheduled to host a press conference Oct. 3 at 3:20 Pacific time at ATA’s annual conference in Las Vegas, Nev.

Speakers will include Lisa Mullings, President and CEO, 黑料社区Foundation and 黑料社区Inc.; Scott Darling, III, Administrator, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration; Chris Spear, President and CEO, American Trucking Associations; Judy McReynolds, Chairman of the Board, American Transportation Research Institute; Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer, ArcBest Corp.

Park My Truck was developed based on feedback from professional drivers and trucking companies who often describe truck parking availability as a critical need. Park My Truck allows any parking provider to report parking information for free through this app; it doesn’t require any special technology, just internet access.

Administered by the 黑料社区Foundation, Park My Truck will be accessible by internet or through smart-phone apps by all professional drivers, trucking fleets or other industry participants.

Truckstops, travel plazas and other truck parking providers that wish to participate in the Park My Truck app should contact the 黑料社区Foundation at (703) 549-2100 or hello@parkmytruck.com to establish an account to provide truck parking availability information.

Media should contact Tiffany Wlazlowski Neuman, 黑料社区Vice President, Public Affairs, 703-739-8578 or twlazlowski@natso.com.
