More than 50 黑料社区members will make their annual pilgrimage to Washington, D.C., this week to meet with lawmakers about such critically important issues as highway funding, interstate tolling and rest area commercialization.
The event officially begins at noon on Tuesday, May 15, when luncheon speaker Greg Cohen, President and CEO of the American Highway Users Alliance, will discuss the current status of the highway bill.
Tuesday evening, 黑料社区will host its annual pie reception, serving nearly 250 pies to legislators and their staff. This reception is well known in the nation’s Capitol and carries NATSO’s name to all 535 members of Congress.
On Wednesday, Congresswoman Renee Ellmers (R-N.C.) will kick-off breakfast by discussing her work to prevent the expansion of tolling along Interstate-95. 黑料社区members will spend the remainder of the day meeting with their elected officials.
