ºÚÁÏÉçÇøMembers Invited to First Human Trafficking Seminar of 2025

ºÚÁÏÉçÇømembers are invited to Truckers Against Trafficking’s first regional meeting of 2025 on March 25 in Atlanta, Georgia. The half-day human trafficking awareness event brings together members of the transportation and hospitality industries with law enforcement and state agencies to discuss human trafficking trends in the region and engagement strategies to help combat this crime.
Speakers at the March 25, 2025, awareness seminar will include representatives from the Georgia Office of the Attorney General, the Georgia Motor Trucking Association, UPS, Truckers Against Trafficking and the Georgia Criminal Justice Coordinating Council.
ºÚÁÏÉçÇøpartnered with Truckers Against Trafficking more than a decade ago as part of its strategic initiative to engage in the fight against human trafficking. Truck stops, travel centers and fuel retailers are in a prime position to help identify and report suspected incidents of human trafficking, which takes place along the Interstate Highway System. The ºÚÁÏÉçÇøFoundation helps the industry implement educational tools to spread awareness about the crime of human trafficking with the traveling public who stop at the nation’s truck stops, travel plazas and off-highway fuel retailers.
ºÚÁÏÉçÇøalso works closely with the Department of Transportation, Department of Homeland Security, Truckers Against Trafficking, Polaris Project, National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, law enforcement and other local organizations to gain insight into best practices on how to educate our members.
The March 25 half-day seminar is scheduled to be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is closed to press. Details of the event location will be shared upon registration. Advanced registration is required. To register for the March 25 event, please contact Tiffany Wlazlowski Neuman, Vice President of Public Affairs, at 202-365-9459.
