/

NATSO, representing truck stops and travel plazas, and SIGMA: America鈥檚 Leading Fuel Marketers, issued the following statement on the selection of former Congressman Lee Zeldin to lead the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

鈥満诹仙缜鴄nd SIGMA and their respective Boards of Directors congratulate Lee Zeldin on being chosen to lead the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and look forward to working with him on a broad spectrum of issues of vital consequence to America鈥檚 energy marketplace. Amid a rapidly evolving re-fueling landscape, we are eager to work with Mr. Zeldin to address such important issues as the need to bridge the gap between existing and emerging fuels as well as the need for a market-driven, technology-neutral approach to fuel policy. We urge the Senate to quickly confirm his appointment once the new Congress convenes.鈥
