ºÚÁÏÉçÇøWelcomes Ascent Hospitality Management as Newest Chairman’s Circle Member

ºÚÁÏÉçÇøtoday announced , a development organization within the restaurant franchise sector, as NATSO's newest Chairman’s Circle member—the highest membership level for industry suppliers.

Ascent is the franchisor of the Huddle House and Perkins Restaurant & Bakery, operating nearly 600 restaurant locations in the United States and Canada.

“Ascent Hospitality Management brings a wealth of knowledge to ºÚÁÏÉçÇøand its members," said Pamela Hayes, vice president of business development for NATSO. "Restaurants, food services and franchising are a core part of the truckstop and travel plaza industry, and we’re excited to tap into the expertise of the Ascent Hospitality Management team."

Founded in 2019, Ascent reported record development for its restaurant concepts last year, with 32 franchise agreements signed between the Huddle House and Perkins brands.

The team credits this growth to its strategic innovations and focus on franchise opportunities with experienced multi-unit investors in markets across the United States and Canada.

Peter Ortiz, chief development officer at Ascent Hospitality Management, is a results-focused executive with more than 30 years of experience in the franchise industry. Ortiz joined Ascent in March 2021. Since its formation, Ascent has become a catalyst for growth in legendary restaurant brands by providing strong leadership, exceptional talent, and restaurant expertise. The company continues to leverage these strengths to build beneficial, lasting relationships with franchise partners and implements effective strategies that support long-term growth for both Huddle House and Perkins restaurants.

Wlazlowski Neuman leads ºÚÁÏÉçÇøand the ºÚÁÏÉçÇøFoundation’s public affairs initiatives and communications strategies to promote the truck stop and travel center industry to the public, opinion leaders, elected officials, and the media. She is the architect of the truck stop and travel center industry’s anti-human trafficking campaign and currently serves as a Committee member for the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Human Trafficking Advisory Council. Wlazlowski Neuman serves on the American Highway Users Policy and Government Affairs Committee.
