New NLRB Union Poster Effective Date Delayed

/

The National Labor Relations Board’s rule requiring employers to post notices of an employee’s right to unionize is on hold, after a federal court in Washington, D.C., issued a temporary injunction.

According to the , the rule will not take effect until the legal issues are resolved. There is no new deadline for the posting requirement at this time.

A federal district court in South Carolina last week struck down the NLRB’s rule, ruling that the NLRB does not have the authority to require employers to post the notice.
