RaceTrac Celebrates Professional Drivers Throughout September

/

RaceTrac is focused on connecting with professional drivers as it grows its travel center program, and the company recently announced its plans to celebrate drivers throughout September in honor of National Truck Driver Appreciation Week, which runs Sept. 15-21.

During a recent The Truck Stops Here podcast, Nick LaFalce, RaceTrac鈥檚 marketing manager, shared how the company has been working to increase its visibility among professional drivers, and has tapped into truck driver appreciation events.

It’s been a special focus for us since we’ve launched this travel center program. Historically, we talk about it as Truck Driver Appreciation Week for RaceTrac,鈥 LaFalce said. 鈥淲e like to expand that and call it truck driver appreciation month.鈥

Throughout September, RaceTrac is offering special perks at all its travel centers and expanded diesel offering stores. RaceTrac鈥檚 official Truck Driver Appreciation Month perks include:

  • All September, Free any size hot coffee (one per week)
  • Free 16 oz. Celsius energy drink (one for the month)
  • Sept. 4 鈥 8, Free hot dog, sponsored by Nathan鈥檚 Hot Dogs
  • Sept. 9 鈥 15, Free slice of pizza
  • Sept. 16 鈥 22, Free classic breakfast sandwich
  • Sept. 23 鈥 30, Free cheeseburger

The hot food and drink offers are redeemable at all RaceTrac stores for qualified guests that select 鈥減rofessional鈥 in their driver profile on the RaceTrac Rewards App. RaceTrac is also doubling the professional driver Rewards points on all in-store purchases and pump fill-ups through the app all month long.
