Republican Senators to Meet Again With President Today on Infrastructure
It is unclear whether Senate Republicans can reach an agreement with the White House that can make it through a narrowly-divided House. It is equally unclear whether the partisan approach that the House is pursuing would be acceptable to moderate Senate Democrats. There is very little room for error. Given the amount of money Congress is considering investing in alternative fuels (such as electricity and, to a lesser extent, hydrogen and natural gas), the stakes for ºÚÁÏÉçÇømembers are extraordinarily high.
