President - 24/7 Travel Stores
Ted聽Augustine聽is President of 24/7 Travel Stores, headquartered in Salina, Kansas. He earned his degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kansas State University and went to work for ExxonMobil Chemical at the largest petrochemical complex in the United States from 2015 to 2019. He returned to Kansas in 2019 to join Triplett, Inc., dba 24/7 Travel Stores, as a third-generation family member.聽Ted聽is happily married to his wife, Colleen. They have two sons and are expecting their third child this November.
Larry Triplett,聽Ted鈥檚 grandfather, founded Triplett, Inc. in 1963, starting off as a Standard Oil dealer and expanding into a multi-location Amoco Jobber. Mark Augustine, Ted鈥檚 Father, became President of Triplett, Inc. in 1993 and grew the company under Triplett, Inc.鈥檚 copyrighted 24/7 Travel Store brand, dropping the BP Brand after their purchase of Amoco. Today, 24/7 Travel Stores has 10 retail fueling locations along I-70 and I-135 in Kansas, all with branded in-store gift shops called Great Plains Gift Co., one with a short-term RV park branded Flatland RV Park, and 5 with dog parks branded Prairie Dogs Dog Park. Recently, 24/7 Travel Store was the first company to independently own and operate electric vehicle chargers in Kansas, and 5 of their 10 locations now feature DC fast chargers.
