NATSO’s Travel Center Comprehensive Operational Checklist covers key tasks that a location can review to improve day-to-day operations, ensure safety, and reduce risk. Darren Schulte, NATSO鈥檚 vice president of membership, created the list based on his hundreds of visits to 黑料社区member locations as well as his decades of first-hand experience in truck stop operations. NATSO鈥檚 Travel Center Comprehensive Operational Checklist is available to download to members for $150 and non-members for $300.

Running a truck stop or travel center comes with what seems like an endless list of tasks to accomplish. The days can be hectic, and it can be easy to get distracted, which is why a thorough checklist can help operators and managers stay focused and manage their various duties.

The checklist compiles crucial tasks and items to complete in one place, with more than 110 items to review. It covers key areas within a truck stop or travel center, including items on:

  • Fuel Quality, Storage Tanks, and Inventory Management
  • Emergency and Spill Response
  • Oil Water Separator
  • Security
  • Parking Lot
  • Bulk DEF
  • Diesel Fuel Islands
  • Building Exterior
  • Building Interior

With the checklist, managers or owners can quickly scroll through and know they鈥檝e covered everything from checking that under-pump containment boxes free of excessive product and/or water to making sure store merchandise is priced, clean, faced/fronted, and well-stocked.

A download of NATSO鈥檚 Operational Checklist is available to members for $150 and non-members for $300.
